Recommended Posts

clear1x1.gif The Engle FK89 is a classic VW Race Cam. It is designed for 1.4-1.5 rockers, and it's specs are .416" Cam Lift, .582" Valve Lift (1.4 Rockers), 328 degrees of advertised duration, and 282 degrees of duration at .050", on a 108 Lobe Center. This is a timeless classic! The Engle FK-89 is being used as a "street" cam by serious street warriors all over the World! Beside those crazies, this is a classic Drag Cam that never fails to impress! If the engine doesn't make power, SOMETHING ELSE IS WRONG! This is easier on the valvetrain than the "milder" FK-87.

Expect a powerband of 4200-8200 RPMs, the more headwork and gearing the better. Dual 2bbls are required.

Chevy springs are also REQUIRED, as are tight gears. We recommend compression ratio of 10.5:1 or more.
