Same duration as GB 300 with extremely fast ramps and higher lift. Gives good bottom end and extra RPM range. More all around performance and more valve train noise. Requires GB 269 springs. 292 duration, 0.450" lift at cam
donc GB300:
Longer duration and more lift than GB 297, designed to give more power at higher RPM. Recommended for 1700cc and larger motors with headwork and dual carburetion to get smoother low end. Can be used with smaller engines but will idle rougher and lose low RPM power unless dual, dual throat carburetion is used. 1500-5500 RPM with head work. Requires GB 273A dual springs. 294 duration, .390" lift at cam.
